Yangju Urban Corporation Selected as Family-Friendly Certified Institution for Fifth Consecutive Year in 2025

Yangju Urban Corporation in Gyeonggi Province (President Lee Heunggyu) announced on December 4 that it was selected for the fifth consecutive year as a family-friendly certified institution for 2025, an initiative organized by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family on December 1.
The corporation has further solidified its status as a leading public enterprise in family-friendly management by achieving family-friendly certification for the first time in 2014 and maintaining this recognition for a total of five consecutive terms through this year.
In particular, the corporation has strengthened various support systems for employees during pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare periods. Through effective workplace improvement policies such as reduced working hours for employees with childcare responsibilities, flexible start and end times, and flexible work arrangements, the corporation helps employees reduce the burden of caregiving at different stages of life while maintaining stability in their work.
Additionally, the corporation has fostered a healthy workplace culture based on enhanced communication and trust. The expansion of employee support, tangible changes in organizational culture, and ongoing efforts to establish the value of gender equality were all positively evaluated in this year’s certification.
