Sunchang County Recruiting Participants for Next Year's Employment Program for People with Disabilities
40 Positions to Be Filled
Employment Period: January to December Next Year
Sunchang County, North Jeolla Province, announced on December 4 that it will recruit 40 positions for the 2026 employment program for people with disabilities, aiming to expand their social participation and ensure stable income.
Next year’s employment program for people with disabilities will be operated in three categories: general positions (10 full-time, 12 part-time), welfare positions (12), and specialized positions (4 massage therapists for the visually impaired, 2 assistants for care workers with developmental disabilities).
Notably, starting next year, the assistant care worker role for individuals with developmental disabilities will be newly established as a “specialized position,” with the goal of improving job suitability and employment stability for people with disabilities through designated operating agencies.
Eligibility is open to unemployed individuals with disabilities aged 18 or older, registered under the “Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities” and residing in Sunchang County. Those selected will be assigned to various public institutions or social welfare facilities from January 1 to December 31 next year, where they will assist with administrative work, provide welfare service support, and perform related tasks.
