Linking Idle Infrastructure and Kakao Mobility Platform
Hanjin will pursue strategic cooperation with Kakao Mobility to innovate logistics services and realize 'Logistics 4.0'.
Hanjin announced on December 4 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kakao Mobility on December 3 to jointly build an artificial intelligence (AI)-based logistics network.

View original imageHanjin plans to enhance its delivery services by linking its idle-time logistics infrastructure with Kakao Mobility's supply chain, and will also work to expand logistics services using the Kakao Mobility platform.
In addition, Hanjin will integrate Kakao Mobility's AI logistics system into its middle-mile operations to optimize routes between logistics hubs and maximize operational efficiency. The two companies will also jointly develop optimized AI prediction models based on accumulated data. Throughout the entire service process, they will work to establish a joint automated logistics operation system based on AI-driven operating systems and autonomous driving technology, as part of their AX (AI transformation) initiative.
The two companies will form a joint consultative body and continue practical discussions in stages to develop specific business models and implementation plans.
