The Daejeon Design Promotion Agency (Director: Lee Changki) is hosting the "Hotspot Spreading the Word" event, where citizens can directly experience and share a total of 50 Daejeon Design Hotspots on social media, including 15 newly selected spaces this year.
This campaign goes beyond a simple event, serving as a participatory project where citizens and visitors can experience and share the value and appeal of design throughout Daejeon.
The photos and stories participants upload to social media will be accumulated as citizen-driven content, providing a meaningful foundation for spreading design culture and discovering the value of spaces, which are the goals of the "Daejeon Design Hotspot" initiative.

Participation is simple. After visiting a hotspot, upload a photo to social media or a blog with the hashtag '#DaejeonDesignHotspot', then visit the official Daejeon Design Hotspot website. There, you can check the event guide popup and click the 'Participate' button within the popup to submit your personal information and the link to your uploaded social media post to complete your entry.

Fifty participants will be selected by lottery to receive coffee coupons. Anyone interested in design, not just Daejeon citizens, is welcome to participate. The event closes on December 7, and the winners will be announced on December 9.
