Seoul Energy Corporation Appoints Sungwoo Choi as Head of New and Renewable Energy Division
Seoul Energy Corporation (President Hwang Boyeon) announced on December 4 that it has appointed Sungwoo Choi, former Head of the Daejeon-Chungnam Regional Headquarters at the Korea Energy Agency, as the new Head of the New and Renewable Energy Division, effective December 3.

View original imageChoi earned a Ph.D. in New and Renewable Energy Engineering from Dongguk University. At the Korea Energy Agency, he served as Director of the Solar Power Business Office, Director of the Building Energy Office, and Head of the Daejeon-Chungnam Regional Headquarters, gaining extensive experience in improving building energy efficiency and in planning and operating energy policy and systems. He has also actively participated in academic activities as a board member and Vice President for Policy at the Korean Solar Energy Society.

Going forward, Choi will oversee the operation of Seoul Energy Corporation's new and renewable energy-related projects. His term will be two years from the date of appointment.
