This is more than just a head of kimchi. The 1,600 heads of kimchi prepared by Saewool Nuclear Power Plant for their neighbors are warming every corner of Seosaeng-myeon like a winter stove.
Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (headed by So Yu-seop) carried out a volunteer kimchi-making event called "Sharing Love, Sharing Kimchi" at the Sarang Nanum Center in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju County, over two days from December 2 to 3.

On the first day, they prepared and salted the cabbage and made the seasoning, while on the second day, they stuffed the kimchi and packaged it.
The kimchi-making volunteer activity is one of the main social contribution initiatives of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, with employees personally making and delivering kimchi to their neighbors every year. Ahead of the full onset of winter, this year they prepared and delivered 1,600 heads of kimchi-an increase from last year-to local welfare facilities and 200 vulnerable households in Seosaeng-myeon.
