Korea Angel Investment Accelerator Association Holds Forum to Mark 30th Anniversary of Venture Industry
Exploring Sustainable Growth Strategies for Accelerators
The Korea Angel Investment Accelerator Association (KAIA) announced on December 2 that it held the 5th Startup Investor Insight Forum at the 2nd Fintech Lab Event Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 28th of last month.
Organized to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the venture industry, the forum was attended by more than 50 startup investors and accelerators who discussed sustainable growth strategies and the future direction of the accelerator (AC) industry.

View original imageThe event featured presentations including: 'Venture Studio Model' by Minyoung Hae, Director of MYSC; 'Value Creation House' by Hojae Lee, Co-CEO of Y&ARCHER; and KAIA's 'Accelerator Growth Paradox.' These sessions provided insights into the advancement of business models in the industry, investment and incubation strategies, and structural changes in the sector.
During the subsequent open talk, participants freely discussed the current status and case studies of the accelerator industry, practical growth challenges, and policy improvements. KAIA also introduced its plan to publish the 'Accelerator Industry White Paper 2025,' emphasizing the need for policy and market environment improvements based on industry data.
