To restore Bulamsan, the city carried out administrative enforcement over a total of 59 days from September 10 to November 7. The illegal structures scattered across the mountain’s slopes posed a high level of difficulty due to steep gradients and narrow access roads. However, by deploying heavy machinery and professional personnel, the city safely removed 290 tons of waste without any accidents.
Citizens who joined the site inspection expressed great satisfaction as they compared before-and-after photos and saw the forest being returned as a public space for the community.
The city plans to prevent the recurrence of illegal activities by establishing a continuous management system, rather than treating this administrative enforcement as a one-time clean-up.

In addition, by collaborating with the Byeollae-dong Community Leaders’ Council and the Residents’ Autonomy Committee, regular environmental clean-up activities will be organized to foster a culture where citizens collectively care for the forest trails.
Furthermore, the city will actively pursue the "Bulamsan Aegibong Perimeter Trail Improvement Project" to transform the cleared area into a resting space for citizens. With completion targeted for the first half of 2026, the project will establish a barefoot trail and a forest walkway, creating a healing space accessible to everyone. The city aims to minimize environmental damage and create an eco-friendly walking course that is safe for all ages, developing Byeollae-dong into a leading destination for daily life and leisure.
