Supporting Neighbors in Need and Local Youth with Charity Funds and Scholarships
The Gyeongsan City Magnolia Association (President Park Kyungyun), a group consisting of the spouses of Gyeongsan City officials ranked grade 5 or higher, visited Gyeongsan City Hall on December 1 and donated 5 million won for neighbor assistance and 5 million won in scholarships, totaling 10 million won.
President Park Kyungyun stated, "In these economically challenging times, we have gathered the proceeds from our charity bazaar and the heartfelt contributions of our members to deliver these donations and scholarships. We hope to bring light to neighbors in need and serve as a stepping stone for the youth who are growing up."
Gyeongsan City Mayor Cho Hyunil responded, "I deeply thank the members of the Gyeongsan City Magnolia Association for personally practicing sharing and working hard for the local community. We will ensure that the donations and scholarships you have provided are used where they are most needed."
