The newly opened Gyeokpo Branch, which spans 170 pyeong (approximately 562 square meters), is designed to leverage the foot traffic from visitors to the Byeonsan and Gyeokpo tourist areas. It not only secures stable sales channels for local farmers but also allows them to directly offer and sell a variety of local food products-such as fresh and trustworthy agricultural produce, ready-to-eat meals, and processed goods-produced by the region's farms to tourists.
This initiative goes beyond being a simple retail facility; it is expected to serve as a tourism-oriented local food platform that naturally connects tourist demand with regional agricultural products, thereby strengthening the Buan Local Food brand and making a significant contribution to revitalizing the local economy.
