Taeyeon Releases 10th Anniversary Album: "A Greeting to My Past and Future Self"
Taeyeon of Girls' Generation is releasing her first compilation album, "Panorama," on December 1 to mark the 10th anniversary of her solo debut.
On this day, Taeyeon shared through her agency, SM Entertainment, "With this 10th anniversary, I will strive to show an even better side of myself," and added, "I am always grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey."
"Panorama: The Best of Taeyeon" will be released at 6 p.m. on various music platforms. The album consists of a total of 24 tracks, including the new title track "Panorama," and features songs that represent key periods and genres of her career. It is an album that captures her 10-year musical journey like a single panorama.
The title track "Panorama" is a pop rock song that delivers a message to both the past and future days. Taeyeon described the song as "a story of offering a precious greeting to my past and future selves," and explained, "I created it with my fans in mind."
Regarding the decision to present a new version of her debut song "I," she said, "This song has become my signature, so it is very precious to me. I wanted to reinterpret the charm of the original from a different perspective."
When asked which songs she regretted leaving out during the selection of the 24 tracks, she replied, "It was too difficult to choose just one, so I picked two," mentioning "Circus" from her third mini album and "Something New."
This album also features reinterpreted tracks, such as "Time Lapse 2025 Mix," newly mixed by Kim Jongwan of Nell, a solo version of "I" re-recorded with Taeyeon's vocals, and "Panorama Live Studio Session," which is available only on the CD.
