Sacheon City Announces Public Sanitation Service Evaluation, "Green Grade" Certification!
Grades Assigned to 240 Businesses Based on Evaluation Results
To Be Used as Key Indicators Verifying Business Quality
Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province announced on December 1 that it had released the results of its "Public Sanitation Service Evaluation" for public sanitation businesses (barber and beauty shops) conducted from September to November, through the city hall website.
This evaluation was carried out to provide citizens with a pleasant and hygienic environment. An evaluation team, consisting of public officials and honorary public sanitation monitors, visited the businesses in person to comprehensively assess their sanitary conditions and service quality.
Based on the evaluation, the city assigned grades as follows: 240 businesses received the Green Grade (Best, 90 points or higher), 157 businesses received the Yellow Grade (Excellent, 80 points or higher but less than 90), and 63 businesses received the White Grade (General Management, less than 80 points).
In particular, for the top-performing businesses within the Green Grade (Best), the city plans to produce and distribute separate hygiene management grade plaques individually.
This public sanitation evaluation provided an objective assessment of the hygiene management and service quality of the businesses, and established standards for future improvements.
Additionally, the grades assigned based on the evaluation results will serve as important indicators to verify the quality of each business.
