The Docheok~Silchon section of Local Road No. 98 is a national support local road with a total length of 3.42 km and four lanes in both directions, running from Jinuri in Docheok-myeon to Samri in Gonjiam-eup, Gwangju City. The project began in February 2019 with a total budget of 165.6 billion won and is scheduled for completion in June 2026.
Gyeonggi Province expects that this partial opening will help alleviate chronic congestion in the Jinuri area, secure a safe detour necessary for the construction of a box culvert (a drainage structure) on the existing road, and improve access to nearby industrial complexes.
