It is operated for children and youth, either as family units or in school and group settings, and is structured to help participants easily learn about and practice the importance of ecological conservation.
The main content of the education includes an introduction to the Gyeonggi Wildlife Rescue and Management Center, the ecology of wild animals, the main causes of wildlife rescues, and methods for human-animal coexistence. The program also features child-friendly activities such as the "One-Day Veterinarian Experience" using animal dolls, which has resulted in high participant satisfaction.
This briefing session will provide detailed information on the project overview, application procedures, important notes for applicants, and criteria for selecting grant recipients. In addition, the session will explain how to fill out related forms, such as the project application and project plan, using examples, and will also provide guidance on the Botame-e Subsidy Management System.
Attendance at the briefing session is available by prior registration. Organizations and groups wishing to participate should complete the application form and submit it by email to the designated contact person. Further details about the briefing session can be found on the Gyeonggi Provincial Government website and the Gyeonggi Animal Protection and Welfare Platform website.
The project call for applications will be announced separately on the Gyeonggi Provincial Government website in early January 2026, following the business briefing session. Through this session, the province aims to actively identify professional operators with interest and expertise in wildlife ecological conservation education. Gyeonggi Province is looking forward to the active participation of organizations and groups with extensive experience in systematic educational planning and on-site operations.
