Fint Highlights AI Investment Algorithm 'US Governance'
December & Company, which operates the artificial intelligence (AI)-based easy investment service 'Fint', announced on the 28th that its AI investment strategy, 'US Governance', continues to deliver outstanding results amid increased volatility in global stock markets.
Recently, sharp fluctuations in US Treasury yields and big tech stock prices have heightened market uncertainty. Some observers have even raised concerns about an overheating of AI-themed stocks, further intensifying confusion among individual investors. With the strong US dollar trend persisting and the rate of currency depreciation ranking among the highest globally, interest in dollar-based assets has also risen significantly.
As demand grows for assets that can secure long-term profit structures without being swayed by short-term event-driven volatility, Fint's 'US Governance' strategy is gaining attention as an alternative investment option. The strategy conducts in-depth analysis of non-financial factors such as Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) to select and invest in companies with robust management stability. Leveraging Fint's proprietary deep learning technology and ESG evaluation scoring system, the strategy identifies high-quality stocks with strong governance factors and promising growth potential.
The US Governance strategy is composed mainly of the top 200 large-cap stocks listed in the United States by market capitalization, offering a more structured portfolio compared to existing broad-based US stock solutions. Thanks to this approach, the strategy has outperformed the S&P 500 in nearly every period for over three years since August 2022. As of the 12th, the cumulative return of the US Governance strategy stood at 136.1%, surpassing the S&P 500's gain of 87.2% over the same period.
Even when compared to US equity public funds sold in Korea, the strategy has maintained top-tier performance across most periods, demonstrating the superiority of its algorithm as a long-term investment strategy. Over the past three years, the US Governance strategy has ranked in the top 1% among domestic public funds investing in US equities. The focus on building a portfolio of high-quality stocks with solid governance and strong long-term growth potential is considered a key factor in maintaining stable returns despite the current environment of heightened uncertainty.
Song Inseong, CEO of December & Company, explained, "Even in a market environment with increased volatility, the US Governance strategy continues to deliver excellent results across various indicators under consistent standards." He added, "As customer needs for investing in US stocks become increasingly diversified, Fint is introducing strategies such as 'US Next Paradigm', which invests in the Fourth Industrial Revolution sector, and 'US Governance', thereby expanding the range of options available to investors."
Based on its service philosophy of "Invest, Easily, Automatically," Fint offers a variety of AI investment solutions to help ordinary investors manage their assets with ease. The company is expanding its robo-advisor (RA) service domain. It provides discretionary investment and advisory services across a wide range of areas, including stocks, ETFs, bonds, pension savings, individual retirement pensions (IRP), and individual savings accounts (ISA). Recently, the total amount managed by its AI investment solutions surpassed 420 billion won.
