Gijang County, Busan to Conduct "Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Census" Until December 22
Survey on the Scale, Distribution, and Management Types of Agricultural, Forestry, and Fishery Households
Key Data for Policy Development
Gijang County (Governor Jeong Jongbok) will conduct the "2025 Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Census" for all local agricultural, forestry, and fishery households from November 20 to December 22.
The Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Census is a national statistical survey conducted every five years to gather data on the scale, distribution, structure, and management types of all agricultural, forestry, and fishery households. The collected data serves as a foundational resource for various policy decisions.
The survey examines the scale, management types, and structural changes of farming, forestry, and fishing households. The results are used as key data for establishing agriculture, forestry, and fisheries policies and for regional development.
The census will first be conducted online from November 20 to December 10. Participants can take part using the participation number included in the advance survey notice sent to them. For households that do not respond online, in-person interviews will be conducted by surveyors from December 1 to December 22.
