Gangwon Province Holds Final Report Meeting on 2nd Basic Youth Policy Plan... Gathers On-Site Feedback
On November 26, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) held the final report meeting for the establishment of the "2nd Basic Plan for Youth Policy" under the vision of "Opening the Future of Gangwon Together with Youth" at the Gangwon Women and Family Research Institute.
The meeting was attended by 5 members of the Youth Policy Coordination Committee, 5 external experts, and 40 officials in charge of youth policy from the province and city and county governments.
The participants proposed specific opinions regarding feasibility, institutional linkage, and field applicability. The province plans to incorporate the suggestions made during the meeting into the final plan to enhance the completeness of youth policy implementation in 2026.
Moving forward, the province will finalize the basic plan in December after reflecting the feedback received, and submit it to the Office for Government Policy Coordination in January 2026 after review by the Youth Policy Coordination Committee.
