Providing Essential Winter Supplies for Safe Driving
Coupang Eats Service (CES) announced on November 25 that it has donated cold weather supplies to the Korea Platform Freelancer Labor Mutual Aid Association to support safe driving for its delivery partners during the winter season.
This donation was organized to help delivery partners work safely and comfortably despite the colder weather. The donated items include winter gloves designed specifically for delivery partners, balaclavas, and insulated overshoes-items that provide practical assistance for winter operations.

Any delivery partner who visits these sites can receive the supplies. In addition, the Mutual Aid Association plans to deliver some of the donated items to the Yongin Platform Cooperative to support delivery partners in the Yongin area as well.
Coupang Eats is also providing various forms of support, such as thorough preventive maintenance and management, to ensure the safe operation of two-wheeled vehicles during the winter, when extra caution is needed due to snow and icy roads. Since September, the company has been conducting free safety inspections and consumable replacement events in 16 major cities nationwide, including the Seoul metropolitan area, Cheongju, Jeonju, Daegu, and Changwon. The main inspection items include braking systems, tires, lighting equipment, and steering systems.
