Hanjoo ART Partners with Group Purchasing Platform "Daiclo" to Enter Distribution Business
KOSDAQ-listed company Hanjoo ART announced on November 25 that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with the group purchasing platform Daiclo, establishing a foundation for entry into the distribution business.
Daiclo is an offline group purchasing platform that has rapidly grown in the distribution market, surpassing 100 stores just four months after its launch. Through this partnership, Hanjoo ART plans to expand its business scope beyond the food service industry to the broader distribution sector.
As their first collaboration, the two companies conducted a group purchase of processed foods made from local specialties in the Namwon and Boseong regions, successfully expanding sales channels for local farmers. Hanjoo ART is also broadening the scope of collaboration by supplying IT products such as mobile charger sets through the Daiclo platform.
A representative from Hanjoo ART stated, "We will strengthen distribution synergy based on K-food by expanding the scope of cooperation with Daiclo, including joint product development and increasing products linked to our food service brands."
