The 'KODA Developer Awards' were established to discover outstanding projects and companies that lead innovation and growth in the real estate development industry and contribute to national development and enhancing urban competitiveness. The awards aim to encourage creative ideas and innovative attempts, while promoting the continuous growth of cities through global and public-private cooperation.
The 'Ulsan KTX Station Complex Specialized District Development Project' presents a strategy to create a new growth hub centered on the Seoulsan area, restructuring Ulsan’s urban spatial framework into a dual-core city system. The project received high praise for proposing a future-oriented mixed-use city model that integrates industry, residential, education, and commerce, and for its organic connection with the Ulsan Urban Convergence Special Zone.
Ulju County was recognized for presenting a new paradigm in urban planning through this project and for contributing to establishing a foundation for Ulsan’s sustainable growth by achieving balanced development and enhancing the region’s self-sufficiency.
Lee Soongul, Governor of Ulju County, stated, "This award is the result of Ulju County’s strategic efforts for the future of our city being recognized externally," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure that the Ulsan KTX Station Complex Specialized District becomes a central axis driving the diversification of Ulsan’s industrial structure and improvements to the residential environment."
