Guri City Releases 2025 List of 260 Major and Habitual Delinquent Payers
Disclosure Measures Implemented for Major and Habitual Delinquent Payers of Local Taxes Over 10 Million Won
Guri City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyunghyeon) announced on the 25th that it had released the "2025 List of Major and Habitual Delinquent Payers of Local Taxes and Non-Tax Revenues" through Wetax and the city's official website on the 19th.
The list includes 221 individuals with major and habitual delinquencies on local taxes of 10 million won or more (totaling 12.2 billion won), and 39 individuals with major and habitual delinquencies on local administrative sanctions and imposed charges (totaling 4.3 billion won). The disclosed information includes: name (or corporate name), age, address, and details of the delinquency.
The public disclosure of this list is one of the indirect enforcement measures against delinquent payers. Those subject to disclosure are individuals who, as of January 1 this year, have been delinquent for over one year on local taxes or local administrative sanctions and imposed charges of 10 million won or more.
Previously, in March, the city provided advance notice to those scheduled for inclusion on the new list and guaranteed an opportunity to submit opinions by granting a period of more than six months for explanation.
