Seongnam City Wins Win-Win Prize at the 8th Korea Housing Welfare Culture Awards

View original imageThe Korea Housing Welfare Culture Awards, established in 2018, is held annually to discover organizations and individuals who have contributed to the advancement of housing welfare and to widely promote outstanding cases. The event is hosted by the Housing Welfare Culture Movement Headquarters and sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Since establishing the Housing Welfare Center in 2023, Seongnam City has been highly evaluated for implementing effective policies across public housing welfare, including support for improving housing conditions for vulnerable groups, enhancing living environments for those in need, and providing assistance to households suspected of hoarding disorder.
In particular, this year marked Seongnam City's first participation in the Korea Housing Welfare Culture Awards, and the city was recognized with the Win-Win Prize (Excellence Award) in the institutional category for its efforts to strengthen the local housing safety net through regional cooperation and solidarity.
