Gimpo City Begins Full-Scale Compensation Process for Land and Buildings in Gamjeong 4 District Urban Development Project
Gimpo City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Byungsoo) announced that it will publicly disclose and allow inspection of the compensation plan for the Gamjeong 4 District urban development project for 15 days, from November 24 to December 8. The compensation targets include a total of 238 parcels covering 221,255 square meters, consisting of 71 parcels of national and public land, 167 parcels of private land, and 243 buildings.
During the inspection period, owners and stakeholders within the project area can visit the Gamjeong 4 District Urban Development Co., Ltd. office or the Future Urban Construction Division at Gimpo City Hall with identification, or review the information via the Gimpo City website and the project operator's website. If there are any objections, objection forms can be submitted in writing, by registered mail, or by fax.
Gamjeong 4 District Development Co., Ltd., the project operator, plans to proceed sequentially with collecting opinions on compensation, selecting an appraiser, and negotiating compensation, starting with this public announcement of the compensation plan.
In particular, following this public announcement of the compensation plan, Gimpo City will form a compensation council to actively gather citizen feedback and coordinate with the project operator to ensure that no local residents suffer compensation-related damages and that a mutually satisfactory compensation is achieved.
