The total project cost was 905 million won, entirely funded by the Muwang 1-ri Resident Support Fund. The building covers 199.48 square meters (two above-ground floors). The first floor features a lounge where residents can enjoy tea and socialize, massage chairs, and therapeutic equipment for the health and well-being of the community. The second floor is fully equipped with various exercise machines, including treadmills.
Muwang 1-ri is home to the Yangpyeong Resource Circulation Center (formerly the Muwang Sanitary Landfill), a waste treatment facility. For 28 years since 1997, local residents have endured sacrifices for the waste management needs of Yangpyeong County. With the establishment of the Healing Center, a long-desired community facility has finally been provided, and its location directly in front of the Muwang 1-ri Community Center is expected to make it highly accessible and useful for residents.
