Shinhanul Unit 1 Turbine Automatically Shut Down
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (headed by Lee Seyong) announced that at approximately 6:11 p.m. on November 23, the turbine of Shinhanul Unit 1 (with a capacity of 1.4 million kW) was automatically shut down.
On November 21, after connecting to the grid and increasing output, the turbine generator of Shinhanul Unit 1 was automatically shut down due to a failure in the main generator exciter.
