National Credit Union Federation of Korea Holds Kimchi Sharing Volunteer Event, Provides 23 Tons of Kimchi
The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced that on the 20th, it held a kimchi-making volunteer event, "Kimchi of Love Sharing," at the Ilwon Eco Center in Gangnam, Seoul, and provided kimchi to underprivileged members of the local community.
The "Kimchi of Love Sharing" volunteer event is part of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea's signature social contribution program, "Jomdori of Love." Employees personally prepared kimchi to help socially disadvantaged groups get through the winter warmly.
Approximately 110 people, including Kim In, President of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, Kwon Younggyu, Chairman of the Seoul Branch of the Korean Red Cross, around 80 employees from the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, and about 30 volunteers from the Red Cross, gathered for the event.

View original imageThrough this "Kimchi of Love Sharing" volunteer activity, the National Credit Union Federation of Korea provided a total of 23,000 kilograms (about 9,200 heads) of kimchi to 2,300 underprivileged households nationwide who have difficulty securing this essential winter food.
