This event is a preliminary celebration for Venture Week, a nationwide festival commemorating the 30th anniversary of the venture industry and the 20th anniversary of the Korea Fund of Funds. It is designed to provide startups discovered and nurtured through the Kibo Venture Camp with real-world IR opportunities and to strengthen the foundation for private-sector collaboration within the startup ecosystem.

The Kibo Venture Camp is a program that identifies and supports innovative startups within three years of their founding, in line with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' policy to vitalize the domestic startup ecosystem. Leveraging its extensive experience in supporting technology startups, Kibo has focused on fostering competitive early-stage companies in partnership with leading domestic private accelerators such as CNT Tech, Darae Strategic Business Center, and Series Ventures.

In particular, participating companies receive a variety of benefits, including: up to 200 million won in guarantee support regardless of sales performance; a guarantee limit of up to 5 billion won for outstanding participants; acceleration support such as pre-assessment, mentoring, and networking; non-financial support such as technology transfer, consulting, and certification as an innovative company; and ongoing support for guarantee-linked investment recommendations and private investment attraction. For the 17th camp, 50 innovative startups were selected and received a range of acceleration support.

The event will be attended by Kibo Venture Camp participants, accelerators, and representatives from investment institutions such as venture capital firms. Among them, 10 outstanding startups will expand their investment opportunities through individual IR pitches and company promotions. A video capturing key scenes from the event will be released later through Kibo's official YouTube channel.

Lee Jaepil, Director of Kibo, said, "We hope this Kibo Venture Camp will be the first step for innovative startups to become global unicorns," adding, "Kibo will continue to fulfill its role as a reliable partner in the startup ecosystem by providing practical support in both financial and non-financial sectors."
