Dongmyung University Professor No Sungyeo Receives Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation for Contributions to Entrepreneurship Promotion

Dongmyung University announced on the 21st that Professor No Sungyeo from the Department of Entrepreneurship received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation at the "2025 Awards for the Promotion and Diffusion of Entrepreneurship."
Professor No was recognized for her contributions to expanding the foundation of local entrepreneurship education and establishing a university-centered startup ecosystem, and was named a recipient at the opening ceremony of "GEW KOREA 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Week Korea Event," held at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul on the 18th.
Her leadership as head of the Local Content-Focused University Project Group, including the establishment of the Department of Entrepreneurship, development of practical entrepreneurship education programs for students, and creation of a regionally customized startup support system, was highly praised. Building a startup ecosystem platform that connects universities, local communities, and industries was also cited as a major achievement.

In her acceptance speech, Professor No Sungyeo said, "I am honored that my efforts to help young people who will lead Korea's future and local residents internalize and practice entrepreneurship have been recognized as a meaningful achievement," adding, "I will continue to do my best to spread a startup foundation for mutual growth with the local community and to establish an innovative entrepreneurship culture, centered on Dongmyung University's Department of Entrepreneurship and the Local Content-Focused University Project Group."
