GS25, the convenience store chain operated by GS Retail, announced on November 24 that it will exclusively launch Daisy Ale, a beer created in collaboration with the renowned Japanese brewery Hitachino Nest and G-Dragon’s fashion brand, Peace Minus One, which participated in the design process.
Hitachino Nest is a beer brand born from Kiuchi Brewery, a brewery in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, with a 200-year history. It has been recognized for its taste and quality, having been selected as the World Champion Beer at the Japan International Beer Competition.

View original imageThe core keyword of this product is the “daisy,” a symbol of G-Dragon, which is reflected in the product’s name. GS25, Peace Minus One, and Hitachino Nest collaborated on every detail, from packaging to recipe, to infuse the product with the emotion and symbolism of the daisy.
The packaging features a bold depiction of daisies, creating a unique visual identity. Rather than simply using a single daisy as a symbol, the design expands the emotion of petals scattering and blooming into a pattern, resulting in a graphic artwork that makes it appear as if daisies are in full bloom on a mint-colored can.
The flavor and quality were also developed to match the daisy concept. By using Pilsner malt and Carapils malt, the beer achieves a light and refreshing body. The intense tropical fruit aroma from Citra hops, combined with the soft, sweet orange blossom notes from Amarillo hops, delivers a fragrant and flavorful experience. The alcohol content is 4.8%.
From November 26 to 28, GS25 will offer advance reservations for Daisy Ale, selling 888 sets per day for three days through the “Wine25Plus” section of the “Our Neighborhood GS” app. Then, from December 4 to 9, pop-up stores will be held at three locations-GS25 Cheongwaggongan, Busan Gwangjang, and DXLAB-featuring tasting events and limited-edition package products. The official launch is scheduled for December 11, and Daisy Ale will be available at GS25 and GS The Fresh stores nationwide.
