Gyeonggi Province Holds Year-End Gathering for Foster Families in Uijeongbu on the 22nd, Honoring Their Dedication and Efforts
On November 22, Gyeonggi Province held the 2025 Dodam Dodam Appreciation Day year-end gathering at the Grand Ballroom Hall of Island Castle in Uijeongbu, with 200 participants from 40 non-relative foster households in attendance.
This year-end gathering was part of Gyeonggi Province's initiative to promote foster care, organized to express gratitude to foster parents who have dedicated themselves to the stable upbringing of children throughout the year, and to strengthen emotional bonds and support systems among foster families through interaction and communication.
On this day, Gyeonggi Province presented the Governor's Award to individuals who have contributed to foster care, and awarded plaques of appreciation to foster parents who have continued fostering for over 10 years.
