Hampyeong County to Hold Public-Private Communication Workshop for Youth Capacity Building
On November 21, Hampyeong County in South Jeolla Province announced that it has organized a communication program involving both the public and private sectors to expand youth participation in the region and strengthen their capabilities.
Hampyeong County is openly recruiting 50 participants for the "Youth Capacity Building Public-Private Communication Workshop," targeting local youth aged 19 to 49. Participation is completely free of charge.
This workshop will be held over two days and one night on December 5 and 6, to help local youth understand county government issues and support their participation in the policy-making process.
The event will be held in conjunction with the opening ceremony of the "Hampyeong County Youth Center," which will open next month. The focus is on expanding the foundation for youth participation so that the center can establish itself as a hub for youth activities and a communication channel for youth policy in the future.
In addition, a variety of programs will be offered, including: benchmarking exemplary youth policies from other local governments; introducing and gathering feedback on youth policies; and a communication network program to encourage exchange and collaboration among young people. These initiatives aim to foster an environment where youth can take the lead in participation.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested individuals can apply via mobile by scanning the QR code on the event poster or by submitting an application form found in the notices section of the Hampyeong County website via email.
