Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jin Jinsun) signed a memorandum of understanding on the 21st with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Student Education Center (Director Ji Misook) to promote experience-based education centered on the local community and establish a mutual cooperation system.

View original imageThis agreement was initiated to strengthen the leadership and community capabilities of future generations by linking Yangpyeong County's natural, cultural, and tourism resources with the educational programs operated by the Student Education Center, while laying the foundation for the joint growth of the local community and educational institutions.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to jointly identify and implement collaborative projects across all areas of education, including building a sustainable education network, interlinking and utilizing educational programs, exchanging educational information and conducting joint promotions, and cooperating on human and material resources.
Director Ji Misook stated, "Yangpyeong County is a region with excellent natural, ecological, and cultural resources that can be utilized for educational purposes," adding, "Through this agreement, we will provide students with a broader and higher-quality education."
Governor Jin Jinsun remarked, "Education for future generations is a key factor driving the sustainable development of Yangpyeong," and continued, "Through cooperation with the Student Education Center, we will organically connect Yangpyeong's natural, cultural, and tourism resources with education, and based on this, create an attractive Yangpyeong where future generations can learn and grow."

Meanwhile, Yangpyeong County plans to use this agreement as an opportunity to further strengthen its cooperative system with the Student Education Center and to create an environment in which local infrastructure and educational content complement each other, thereby establishing a sustainable regional education model.
