View original imageHana Bank announced on November 20 that it received the Chairman of the Financial Services Commission’s Award for Excellence in Information Security at the ‘Financial Information Security Conference (FISCON) 2025’ held at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.
Hosted by the Financial Security Institute, the ‘Financial Information Security Conference (FISCON)’ is marking its 19th edition this year. It is a leading event in the financial sector, where financial companies and related organizations from both the public and private sectors jointly participate to share the latest trends, policies, and technologies in digital finance and financial security.
Hana Bank was recognized for its efforts to strengthen cyber financial security in a rapidly changing digital innovation environment, earning the ‘Chairman of the Financial Services Commission’s Award for Excellence in Information Security’.
In particular, Hana Bank was recognized for its efforts in a variety of areas, including: ▲ securing stability and responding to changes in non-face-to-face and cyber financial environments; ▲ spreading the value of information security through communication and collaboration; ▲ managing cyber security threats by establishing a multi-layered security defense system; ▲ obtaining and maintaining domestic and international information security management certifications; and ▲ establishing an information security impact assessment methodology to proactively respond to security threats.
Ho Sung Lee, President of Hana Bank, who attended the conference, stated, “This award is significant because it recognizes the excellence of our enhanced information security management system in responding to information security incidents.
