Noru Paint Selected as “Excellent Company in Quality Competitiveness” at the 51st National Quality Management Convention
Recognized for Achievements in Quality Innovation
Including Eco-Friendly and High-Performance Coatings
Noru Paint announced on November 20 that it was selected as an “Excellent Company in Quality Competitiveness for 2025” at the 51st National Quality Management Convention held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The National Quality Management Convention is the most prestigious quality management awards ceremony in Korea, hosted by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korean Standards Association. It recognizes companies that have achieved outstanding results in quality innovation, productivity improvement, and customer satisfaction in the industrial field.
In recent years, Noru Paint has strengthened its research and development with a focus on improving eco-friendliness, durability, and workability. In particular, the company has concentrated on developing products that incorporate high-performance and eco-friendly technologies, including: acquiring ISCC Plus certification for the first time in the domestic industry; launching eco-friendly packaging using bio-biodegradable plastics; and obtaining the nation’s first CRRC Cool Wall certification for heat-reflective exterior wall paint.
The company has also established the first paint technology research institute in Korea, thereby securing global-level quality competitiveness. Centered around its research institute, Noru Paint has advanced quality standards across all business sectors-including architectural, PCM, automotive refinish, and general industrial paints-resulting in a portfolio of numerous eco-friendly certified products.
Selected as an excellent company in quality competitiveness for the 17th time this year, Noru Paint continues to pursue sustainable quality innovation activities, enhance quality processes, and strengthen service quality based on customer VOC, all under the four core principles of quality management: objectivity, reliability, eco-friendliness, and customer orientation.
