Busan Port Authority Joins 'Love Kimchi Sharing Festival,' Delivers Warmth to Over 6,000 Vulnerable Households
Donation of 20 Million Won and Employee Volunteer Participation
610 Boxes of Kimchi Delivered to Welfare Centers Near the Port
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sanggeun) participated in the '2025 Love Kimchi Sharing Festival' held at BEXCO Exhibition Center II on November 19, supporting the local vulnerable population in preparing for the winter.

View original imageThis large-scale sharing event was hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and jointly organized by the Busan Volunteer Center, 16 district and county volunteer centers, and BEXCO. More than 40 local organizations and civic volunteers took part in making kimchi for a total of 6,183 households.
BPA donated 20 million won to the event, and 10 employees actively participated in the entire process, from making to packaging the kimchi. The 610 boxes of 5kg kimchi prepared by BPA employees will be delivered to 12 welfare centers near the port and distributed sequentially to vulnerable households.
BPA employees who participated in the volunteer work shared, "We feel proud to have provided practical help to our neighbors around the port."
