Shilla University (President Nam-Sik Heo) has partnered with Ananti Busan (CEO Lee Man-kyu) to enhance the competitiveness of the tourism and service industries and to foster customized talent.
On November 18, an agreement ceremony was held in the President’s Reception Room on the 6th floor of the Shilla University main building, attended by President Nam-Sik Heo, Ananti Busan Director Junsung Jang, and key officials from both organizations.
The two institutions will work together to strengthen the competitiveness of the tourism and service industries, establish a practical industry-academia collaboration, provide tailored job opportunities, and pursue joint development.

View original imageOn this day, both parties agreed to strengthen various forms of cooperation, including: jointly developing and operating field-oriented customized curricula; running career and employment programs such as special lectures by hotel professionals and mentoring by industry practitioners; offering job experience opportunities such as field training and internships for current students and soon-to-be graduates; and supporting joint research and academic activities for industrial development.
With this agreement, Shilla University plans to cultivate talent in the tourism and hotel sectors in line with Busan’s growth as a global tourism city, expand customized education that meets local industry demand, and contribute to the development of the local community.
Jang Heejeong, Head of the University Job Plus Center at Shilla University, said, "The combination of a university with excellent educational infrastructure and a hotel with top-tier facilities is expected to create a synergy effect in training future-oriented tourism and service professionals."
Jang also stated, "We will continue to produce talent with outstanding practical adaptability and establish a collaborative model where the university and industry grow together."
