'Matchball Kids' and 'Flag Bearers' are children who deliver the official match ball to the referee before the game and enter the field with the national team players, holding the flags of both teams. As they step onto the national team stage, it becomes an unforgettable and valuable experience for young football enthusiasts.
Through this program, Hana Bank enabled children from diverse cultural backgrounds to come together through football, helping them gain confidence and a sense of belonging. The children from migrant families, selected through the 'Everyone's Ground - Shooting for Hope' program by Food for the Hungry, felt the joy and pride of being part of Korean society and experiencing a sense of unity through this event.
One child who participated in the event shared, "Standing on the same stage as the Taegeuk Warriors made me feel both nervous and deeply moved. When tens of thousands of spectators shouted 'Korea,' I was proud to be among them."
A Hana Bank representative stated, "Football has the power to unite everyone beyond nationality and language. We hope that through this experience, the children will feel the pride of being 'one with Korea' and realize that, regardless of their different backgrounds, they can grow together."
