It comprehensively evaluates ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management performance and the outcomes of social contribution activities.
Hanwha Corporation received high marks for contributing to regional development by operating a variety of social contribution programs based on the group's "Together, Further" management philosophy. The company is implementing the "Self-Reliance Support Project for Young Adults," which helps youths who are leaving care facilities to become independent. This year, Hanwha Corporation opened the first "Hope Nest with Hanwha" at the Salvation Army Seoul Children's Home in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, and is preparing to open a second location.
Hanwha Corporation is also running employee participation programs such as helping with farm work in rural areas and volunteering to share seasonal summer foods, continuing its support for rural communities and vulnerable groups. The company is also carrying out regional coexistence programs, including hosting the Seoul International Fireworks Festival, establishing Foresta Libraries, and improving outdated small business stores.
