Hwasun County Successfully Concludes 'Dolmen Sports Council Archery Tournament'
Over 160 Archers Participate
Hwasun County in South Jeolla Province announced that the '2025 Hwasun Dolmen Sports Council Archery Tournament' concluded successfully at Seoyangjeong in Hwasun-eup on the 15th.
According to the county on the 18th, the tournament was hosted by the Hwasun County Sports Council and organized by the Hwasun County Archery Association and Seoyangjeong. Over 160 archers from four archery pavilions in Hwasun County participated in the event.
In the team competition, Seoyangjeong won first place, while Gunjajeong took second place. In the individual competition, the winners were as follows: Kim Jongtae of Gunjajeong in the senior division, Park Nokyung of Seoyangjeong in the adult division, Jung Eunju of Seoyangjeong in the women's division, and Kim Dongok of Seoyangjeong in the traditional bow division.

At the opening ceremony, County Governor Koo Bokgyu stated, "I hope this tournament will be an opportunity for all archers from the four pavilions to fully demonstrate the skills they have honed over time," and added, "We will continue to do our best to expand the sports infrastructure so that you can participate in athletic activities safely and in good health."
