Daegu Regional Veterans Office Presents Presidential National Merit Certificate to Family of Late Independence Activist Jang Jaebong
Recognized for Contributions to the 1919 Yecheon March 1st Independence Movement
The Daegu Regional Veterans Office of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director Kim Jongsul) invited the family of the late independence activist Jang Jaebong, who was newly registered as a national merit recipient, and personally presented them with the national merit certificate in the name of the President on November 14.

In recognition of his achievements, he was posthumously awarded the Presidential Commendation on the March 1st Independence Movement Day in 2025.
