KFT is a leading Korean food distribution company in eastern Canada, operating three Galleria Supermarket branches and three warehouse-style stores.
As a K-Food specialist distributor, KFT achieves annual sales of approximately 96 million dollars, focusing on fresh produce and processed foods.
Kim Moonjae, President of KFT, stated, "Through this agreement, I hope that Cheongdo's excellent agricultural specialty products will win the palates of Canadian consumers and see increased imports. I look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership where Cheongdo County and KFT grow together."
In response, Kim Hasu, Governor of Cheongdo County, said, "With the global popularity of K-Food on the rise, I hope Cheongdo's outstanding agricultural specialty products will appeal to Canadian consumers and serve as a bridgehead for entry into the North American market. We will do our utmost to increase farmers' incomes and expand exports."
Meanwhile, after completing the promotional event in Canada, Cheongdo County will travel to New York, USA, to hold an additional promotional event at H Mart, a leading Korean distribution company.
