FSC Holds "Inclusive Finance Communication and Review Meeting" with Banks
The Financial Services Commission announced on November 18 that it held the "Inclusive Finance Communication and Review Meeting" with the five major financial holding companies-KB, Shinhan, Hana, Woori, and NongHyup-as well as the Korea Federation of Banks and SGI Seoul Guarantee. At the meeting, they reviewed the current status and plans for inclusive finance support by each institution.
At the meeting, which was presided over by Shin Jinchang, Secretary General of the Financial Services Commission, the Commission requested that the financial sector play a more active role in enhancing financial accessibility for vulnerable groups and alleviating their financial burdens.

Previously, the five major financial holding companies had agreed to invest 508 trillion won over five years in productive finance and inclusive finance in line with government policy. Of this, approximately 70 trillion won has been allocated to inclusive finance.
