To explore successful operational strategies for the third phase of the University Innovation Support Project, universities representing five regions participated in the forum: Dong-Eui University for the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam region; Duksung Women’s University for the Seoul metropolitan area; Keimyung University for the Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Gangwon region; Soonchunhyang University for the Chungcheong region; and Chosun University for the Honam and Jeju region.

Under the main theme of 'Building Foundational Competencies or Systems Based on AI to Prepare for Future Societal Changes,' the five universities shared best practices related to AI education innovation, a key task of the third phase of the University Innovation Support Project.

Key presentations included Dong-Eui University's 'COLLABO∞ (Collabo Infinity)' integrated education model; Keimyung University's active AI advisor system 'KAILE'; Duksung Women’s University’s case of human-centered liberal arts education innovation, including an AI ethics code; Soonchunhyang University's institutional support measures linked to performance evaluation for faculty innovation; and Chosun University's system for utilizing 'AI Courseware' to supplement freshmen's basic academic skills.

On the second day, in-depth discussions were held during group sessions on the topic of 'Changes at Each University in the Third Phase of the University Innovation Support Project,' covering specific on-site issues and cooperation measures such as expanding interdisciplinary majors and practical operation plans for student-customized AI support systems.

Jeon Kyungran, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Dong-Eui University, who hosted the event, said, "This forum is especially meaningful as it continues the tradition of cooperation that began in the second phase of the University Innovation Support Project and now extends into the third phase. It provided an opportunity to exchange practical ideas for the successful implementation of the third phase and to further strengthen the mutual cooperation network."
