HuonsN Acquires Health Functional Food Manufacturer "BioLoget"

HuonsN, a life care solutions company under the Huons Group, has strengthened its production capabilities by acquiring BioLoget, a manufacturer of health functional foods.
On November 17, HuonsN announced that it has acquired 250,000 shares of BioLoget, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
Through this acquisition, HuonsN plans to further enhance its ability to flexibly respond to increasing export volumes and accelerate market responsiveness and growth speed, building on its existing value chain that spans from raw material research and development to manufacturing and export.
BioLoget specializes in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) for health functional foods. Since its establishment in 1986, the company has provided comprehensive consignment services covering planning, development, production, and after-sales management. BioLoget has facilities certified with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), enabling it to produce six different dosage forms and nine types of packaging. This allows for customized product manufacturing, and the company maintains long-term partnerships with major companies such as CJ Wellcare, Daesang Wellife, and Kyungnam Pharm.
BioLoget also possesses strong research and development (R&D) capabilities for producing high-quality health functional foods. Currently, it is developing individually recognized ingredients based on hawthorn fruit extract and bamboo sheath extract. If these ingredients receive individual recognition from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, BioLoget will secure exclusive manufacturing and sales rights for the next six years.
HuonsN was launched in May as an integrated corporation uniting the health functional food division of Huons and its subsidiary Huons Foodience. Since then, the company has actively expanded its product lineup by acquiring the women's health brand Mycitol and introducing new products based on naturally derived individually recognized ingredients.
Its flagship brands include Menolacto, a probiotic for women's menopause health, and Sagunja, a product for men's prostate health, along with a lineup for cognitive function improvement. The company is currently expanding exports to 14 countries, leading the global spread of "K-health functional foods."
Going forward, HuonsN plans to create new growth engines by combining BioLoget's manufacturing infrastructure, its own R&D capabilities, and its global network to strengthen product competitiveness and supply stability.
