Members of the council carefully packed the items and delivered them to households under case management and those eligible for emergency welfare support.
Yang Misoon, President of the Gwangju City Women's Organizations Council, said, "With the end of the year approaching, it is very meaningful to be able to share warmth with neighbors in need. Although it is a small gesture, I hope it will provide strength to those facing difficulties, and we will continue to work towards fostering a culture of sharing in our community."
Mayor Bang Se-hwan expressed his gratitude, saying, "I thank the Gwangju City Women's Organizations Council for taking the lead in spreading a culture of sharing in the community. We will do our best to ensure that everyone in Gwangju City can spend a warm winter without anyone being left behind."
