"Korean Partners Play Key Role in Supply Chain" BMW Group Holds Supplier Day Event
37 Trillion Won in Korean Parts Purchases from 2010 to 2024
BMW Group Korea announced on the 17th that it held the "2025 BMW Group Supplier Day" event at the BMW Driving Center in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, on the 14th.
The BMW Group Supplier Day is an event designed to highlight the roles and efforts of domestic partners who contribute to the BMW Group across various industries, and to share visions and execution strategies for strengthening future collaboration.
For this event, BMW Group invited more than 30 primary domestic suppliers. Nicole Gunter, Head of Purchasing and Partner Network Asia at BMW Group, and Lux Carsten, Head of Purchasing Asia-Pacific at BMW Group, attended in person to engage with Korean partners.

The event introduced the current status of BMW Group Korea, the present and future direction of the global supply chain, and the "Neue Klasse" vision, which will lead the future of BMW Group.
Participants then had the opportunity to directly experience the dynamism and technological prowess of the BMW brand by taking part in various driving programs, including track driving, at the BMW Driving Center.
Gunter stated, "Korean partners play a very important role in BMW Group's global value chain, based on their advanced technology and competitive quality. We look forward to continuing to grow together and leading the era of future mobility."

BMW Group Korea is also steadily continuing its investments in Korea for mutual growth with Korean society. Efforts include establishing the world’s largest Regional Distribution Center (RDC), opening the R&D Center Korea, expanding logistics and research infrastructure, operating the BMW Driving Center to spread automotive culture, building a nationwide public electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and contributing to the sustainable development of Korean industry and society through various social contribution activities via the BMW Korea Future Foundation.
