The National Busan Science Museum achieved an overall AA rating in digital communication effectiveness assessment, customer panel monitoring (VOC), and expert operational evaluation. As a result, the museum won three top awards in the public institution category: the Korea Internet Communication Grand Prize, the Korea Social Media Grand Prize, and the Korea Communication Grand Prize.
The museum received high praise for strengthening its communication channels with visitors by quickly delivering on-site news about science culture content, creating participatory storylines, and producing content that utilizes the latest trends and memes.
In addition, by actively using a variety of online SNS platforms such as Instagram, blogs, YouTube, and KakaoTalk channels, the museum is making science more accessible and approachable for everyone, and is also striving to expand scientific experiences beyond the offline space.
