"Post-CSAT Admission Strategies Are Crucial"... Jeonnam Office of Education Launches Intensive Support for Early and Regular Admissions
Five Counseling Centers to Be Operated
Regular Admissions Analysis Materials as Foundation
Plans for Intensive One-on-One Counseling
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on November 14 that it will fully implement a customized support system for both early and regular college admissions in order to help students in the Jeonnam region establish stable admission strategies immediately after the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test.
For students preparing for early admissions, the Office of Education will operate mock interview programs at five Career and College Counseling Centers located in Mokpo, Suncheon, Naju, Yeosu, and Gwangyang.
By creating an environment similar to an actual interview and providing feedback from professional counseling teachers, the program aims to help students specifically identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
In addition, the Office is producing and distributing the "DREAM Series" resource books, including "Organize College Admission Schedules with DREAM," "Send Students to College with DREAM," and "Organize Interview Materials with DREAM." These resources offer systematic information, from organizing application schedules and developing application strategies to preparing for interviews. The Office also plans to accelerate the enhancement of students' practical skills by operating mock interview camps based on prompts, Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI), and document-based interviews.
Support for regular admissions will also be strengthened. Through the "Send Students to College with DREAM (Regular Admissions)" analysis materials, the Office will present specific lists of universities to which each student can apply, including major universities in Seoul and the metropolitan area, as well as medical, dental, and pharmacy schools. The focus is on helping students select the most advantageous universities by reflecting each university’s conversion score system (standard scores, percentiles, additional points, etc.).
During the regular admissions application period, the five Career and College Counseling Centers will operate a "Regular Admissions Intensive Counseling Week" to provide strengthened one-on-one customized counseling for students and parents. Training to enhance teachers’ counseling capabilities for regular admissions is also being prepared.
Furthermore, through the "Dream School Counseling Program (Dream Plus)," the Office will provide data such as college admissions results for the past three years, examples of successful and unsuccessful applications, and conversion scores, enabling students to establish more realistic and rational application strategies.

Jeon Seonga, Director of Career Education, stated, "Since early admission interviews and regular admissions schedules are concentrated in the short period immediately after the CSAT, students should actively utilize the counseling system to develop their admission strategies," adding, "We will continue to expand personalized admission support tailored to each student’s career path and aptitude."
