The campaign involved Imsil County, the local police station, and other related organizations, and carried out promotional activities targeting elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as county residents, to prevent child abuse.
Leaflets and promotional materials on child abuse prevention were distributed to students on their way home from school, parents, and local residents, and information was provided on the child abuse prevention hotline and reporting procedures. The campaign focused on emphasizing the importance of prompt reporting in the event of child abuse and on delivering messages about positive parenting.
According to statistics, the number of reported child abuse cases continues to rise nationwide, and the number is also gradually increasing in Imsil County, highlighting the need for residents' attention and active response.
The county plans to further strengthen the public response system for protecting abused children and to improve residents' awareness of child abuse prevention through ongoing education and promotional activities.
