View original imageOn November 14, the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced that it held the "2025 Small and Medium Enterprise CEO Seminar" at the Seamarq Hotel in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, for two days starting from November 13. The event was organized to promote exchange and cooperation among small and medium enterprise cooperatives, with more than 60 participants, including chairpersons of SME cooperatives and heads of SME organizations.
During the seminar, participants reviewed the achievements of policies that have strengthened the growth and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, and discussed strategies and tasks to overcome the three major crises: low birth rates and an aging population, trade issues, and the weakening of the manufacturing base. As securing sovereignty in artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a key task, a special lecture was delivered by Dr. Seo Yoohyun of the Consumer Trend Analysis Center, who diagnosed the current state of AI and discussed ways to respond to the future.

Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, stated, "Thanks to the tireless efforts of the SME community, we have resolved on-site difficulties and contributed to economic development, but many challenges remain, and the internal and external business environment is still difficult." He added, "In order to overcome South Korea's economic crisis, I urge cooperatives to take the lead in enhancing AI competitiveness and expanding overseas presence, and to demonstrate leadership and wisdom."
